Making money through a website is nothing wrong. You put hard work into it, so you should get compensated for it. It is great to make money, but the money comes to you first through content and then from the ads. Not the other way around.
Today you might go on to earn some money but later it will hit your readers experiences. Build virtual relationships with your readers, because satisfied readers are loyal readers. Greed can grab hold you (and your site) and distract you and your visitors from the real reason we are here for the content. So, you try your best not to pack your websites full of ads.
